The Heroic Games Launcher version 2.14.0 has been released and with it some category customisation improvements, to make them easier to work with. Along with fixes for their GOG and Amazon integrations and plenty more.

For adjusting categories you can now add, edit or delete them directly from the drop-down menu making it a lot easier to move games around. There's various other UI improvements to make navigating the app easier, and a fix for issue with GOG as they're a GOG Affiliate and the previous version forced their affiliate links which caused issues with people who block AdTraction - so now it's optional.

hi
"We also now can add, edit, or delete categories directly from the dropdown menu, which provides a more intuitive and streamlined way to organize games."

the onley change i can see with the categories is the Manage Categories this is where you can add new categories and edit categories names what dropdown menu are thay talking about

edit
looking at the What's Changed it looks like it is talking about Manage Categories and not a faster whay to add games to a Categories

#3600 was reported by me :) - apparently I did not have an amazon games username...
I feel so spoiled by Heroic team & the devs behind gogdl, legendary etc. 🙏

Hmm, I'm thinking the ui could do with some cleanup. Is there a way to:

Hide (visible on hover) that mass of play, settings, download and store icons at each game cover?

Hide the sidebar?
