Bella Wants Blood is a bite-sized "roguelike terror defense" game

By - | Views: 18,969

After releasing the roguelike tower defense Core Defense in 2020, and then the rogue-lite survival base builder Landnama in 2023 developer Sonderland is back with something weird with Bella Wants Blood. Note: developer provided an early review key.

They're calling it an "absurd bite-sized roguelike terror defense game", which in a few ways builds on the ideas from Core Defense but puts it into a darker setting and gives you a Slay the Spire style path system to progress through.

"Trapping you in their world, the god-like Bella demands you play their game to feed them blood. Lay down gutters and destructive terrors to obliterate Bella’s friends and their grotesque minions. Just don’t let them reach the end of your maze or Bella will get upset. And if Bella gets upset, Bella might just keep you there forever."
