Oh wow, a birthday present just for me huh? The Garden Path from carrotcake and Mooncat Games is now going to release on July 30th. There's also now a demo available until June 4th.
"The Garden Path is a slice-of-life gardening sim that celebrates small moments. No matter how you decide to play, the garden is a tender world of familiar sights and sounds, mysteries, and friendly faces. A space to call your own, to curate, and to reflect."
A game that continues on when you leave it, since time in The Garden Path follows the outside world. So you can load up and stop by to have a look around and tend to your garden whenever you want. As you progress, and as time goes on, you'll find new travellers, events, activities, and distractions waiting for you each day. It's a game all about taking your time with it, a cozy game to play at your own pace.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyLiam's leading us down The Garden Path again.Ironically, the headline is not a garden path sentence.
Quoting: foobrewAs someone who's gotten more into gardening over the past few years, I'm interested in this. I just wish all the games like this weren't so...cutesy. Maybe it's time for someone to cross a chill gardening game and, I don't know, Diablo? PoE? 7DTD?I can see why a lot of people would want to avoid the grim reality of gardening, which after all is about dirt and worms and animal shit and killing bugs.
