Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers is a different kind of deck-builder and given the popularity of Balatro, this could be another fun one to try.

Set in a tavern packed with the rough and ready, where everyone plays a very different version of traditional Blackjack. Players will have to try their hand at this newfangled card game in order to take down the greedy capitalists exploiting the Blackjack-addicted townsfolk.

Recently Yogscast Games picked it up to become publisher, and they've been jumping in to help development with some brand new art. Check out the trailer:

“From the moment we first saw it, we knew there was something very special about Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, so I’m relieved to be able to finally talk about our partnership,” says Simon Byron, managing director, Yogscast Games. “It’s been a real collaboration between us and Purple Moss Collectors and a genuine honour to help Mike bring the game to life. With the demo now live, I can’t wait for players to experience Dungeon & Degenerate Gamblers incredible twist on a classic card game ruleset, which results in a fantastic roguelike deckbuilding adventure unlike any other. Yes, including that one.”

Features:

  • Unlock new starter decks when you complete runs, for a whole new way to play!
  • Over 250 unique cards!
  • 60 characters to defeat.
  • Unique grimey pixel art aesthetic.
  • All the degeneracy from a seedy casino but with no risk to your finances, mental health, or your loved ones.

You can try out the new demo on Steam. It has Native Linux support with a release due later this year.
