If you enjoy a space sci-fi theme and like your chilled games, you may want to take a look at the new release of Little-Known Galaxy. It's a cozy single-player RPG space adventure where you'll meet various friendly characters, go exploring, do a little crafting and of course farming too.

"Join Space Alliance as a new captain-in-training and work with your quirky crew to solve the mysteries of an ancient relic found on the Grey Planet. What mysteries will it uncover? What kind of adventure lies ahead? And who will you meet along the way? It’s up to you now Captain. Remember to support your crew, follow your heart, and always take care of each other."

The game released on May 20th and the developer noted they're waiting for verification from Valve on Steam Deck support but they mentioned how it's "100% Steam Deck compatible" including:

  • Runs smooth.
  • Easy to use controls.
  • Steam Deck control button prompts.
  • Adjustable user-interface scaling. (if needed)
  • Text legibility.
  • Native resolution support with additional zoom options.
  • Re-bindable controls for your convenience.
  • Virtual keyboards for text input.

Given that it works well on Steam Deck, it will also work great on desktop Linux with Proton. Nice to see more developers hooking up good support!

Features include plenty of space customization, crafting / farming / cooking, story cinematics, various objectives to go through, the ability to befriend and romance, you can hatch and raise various little alien creatures, space exploration and much more. Sounds real sweet.

Available to buy on Steam.

I am going to buy that!
Wow, they really decided to turn the adorable up to 11 on this one.
Hopefully, like Stardew Valley, it adds multiplayer in future.
