Collect and transform against friends in the Cassette Beasts free multiplayer update, which is now officially available. Easily one of the best modern monster catching / collecting games and now you don't have to play it alone which is always a bonus.

What's new in the update includes:

  • Party-up with up to 8 players, all visible in your world as you travel!
  • Battle your friends in 1v1, and even assign custom rules to your battle such as enabling/disabling sticker attributes!
  • Trade tapes with each other, including any stickers you’ve applied!
  • Team up for raid battles against Rogue Fusions to receive Cyber Material to help you obtain Bootlegs faster!

Love this one, especially with the unique fusion system allowing you to combine any two creatures together to create something new and unique. The retro tapes transformation system is real sweet too, and as someone who grew up playing cassettes it speaks to me. Pretty cool soundtrack too and they recently had a special acoustic version of one track done and it's awesome.

It has Native Linux support (made with Godot) and it is Steam Deck Verified.

You can buy it from:

Humble Store

Steam
