Love Stardew Valley and want something different? Dreaming Isles seems like a truly wonderful idea blending the farming life sim with a high seas adventure. It has a demo available with full Native Linux support, and it's due for release in October.

More about it: "Dreaming Isles is an upcoming cozy farm life sim that combines high seas adventure, relationship building, and Zelda-like sword and sorcery. Grow your own ammo (YawningDad is not liable for any damage to your farm or ship caused by the mishandling of frost berries, fire melons, or any other volatile plant life), win the hearts of the Islanders (with the possible exception of the Witch of the Woods, who has been known to turn suitors into toads), bring peace and prosperity to the land (or become a pirate and bring more of a mayhem-ey sort of peace and prosperity)."

Check out the trailer, it's a bit older but it's the latest they have that should give you a good idea of what to expect from this cute upcoming game:

Really seems like a fun blending of ideas here. From a solo developer too, which is always impressive to see. And nice to see proper Linux support again for another sweet game too. With full controller support, it should also be a good one for Steam Deck players.

Check out the demo on Steam.
