For those of you who love base-building RTS games like Age of Empires, perhaps give TFC: The Fertile Crescent a try now it's fully released.

It's a little different to most other similar strategy games though, with food playing a much more active role in the game. It's not just a case of getting x amount of food to train units, as food determines the growth rate of your population and the speed at which you accumulate Knowledge Points. You need to keep a constant eye on your food, as a sneak attack on your farmland could end up crippling you. It's as much about your economy and defense, as it is about destroying the enemy base. Quite a challenge actually overall!

Well, that is the first day one purchase I have made in a long while. Seeing as how I used to mess around with the itch.io version of the game.
