Looks like Humble Bundle may be branching out a bit more, with the Strate-GOG Game Bundle where you redeem them via GOG instead of Steam. This is not the first time they've done a GOG bundle, but good to see more. Competition across stores is always good.

Their definition of "strategy game" really bothers me. Most games in this are RPGs! Sure RPGs with tactical elements, but they are not just "strategy games" - they are at least half something else (I'd argue they are more than half RPG). Strategy is a huge genre, full of very distinct subcategories; lumping it with stuff that is only vaguely connected like this is very frustrating. People that like Civilization and Starcraft won't necessarily enjoy Hard West or Shadowrun (and vice-versa). It is like calling Mass Effect a shooter, or saying Skyrim and Cyberpunk 2077 are "action games".

I was always interested in Hard West, but when I looked at the Steam page reviews it seemed like it was very buggy and had some important problems that seriously undermined the good things about it, so I never got it. Hard West 2 has significantly better reviews, so maybe I should have a look.
(I do agree with eldaking's point--it so happens that I like strategy games, AND I often like turn-based RPGs, but they are not the same and half of this bundle really doesn't look like strategy to me)
