Dawnfolk (previously called Lueur and the Dim Settlers) is a very promising minimalist survival city-builder, one that suckered me in with the various mini-games in every tile you build and it's looking great.

More about it: "In Dawnfolk, you will manage resources, explore the surrounding tiles, and grow your city. The choices you make affect the success of your fledgling town. You might opt to uncover a hunting ground to provide more food for your villagers through meaningful minigames. Or you might choose to forge a path towards the mine and yield a recurring source of materials.

Minigames add a unique challenge to supporting your people. The better you are at the minigames, the more resources you get and the more likely your community will weather the darkness.

Every choice matters as you explore different strategies and play styles in Dawnfolk."

The developer announced the new name earlier this month, which is quite a lot better and easier to remember. They also just showed off a brand new trailer, showing off the accessibility work that's gone into it to hopefully make it playable for everyone. Heck, they even showed playing it with what looks like a Guitar Hero controller.

I noticed a while ago that the name had changed on my wishlist. Definitely don't agree that the old name was inferior or hard to remember, I thought it was very memorable and evocative. Definitely different from many other games, so it stood out to me.

Nice to see it's progressing well though.
So just how Dim are these settlers?
