A Yahtzee Roguelike experience? That's going to be a thing. FokazLabs recently revealed Pip My Dice and the idea does sound quite interesting.

They're hoping in some ways to replicate what Balatro did for Poker, being directly inspired by it. Giving you the ability to customise different dice and use them together with powerful relics to break high scores and climb the leaderboard.

As the developer says: "Although very easy to learn and playable with only the mouse, you will have to understand the symbiosis between the different elements of the game to beat it."

You will need to take your time to evaluate what dice you should reroll to get the best combinations. Giving you endless replayability with every run being different than the one before, plus you'll be able to save and replay your favourite seeds and share those you liked the most.

Features:

  • Climb the leaderboard with seeded or random runs to compete with the world or your friends!
  • Select from 10+ different starting decks.
  • 15+ different dice modifiers with unique effects.
  • 100+ relics to create insane combos.
  • 10+ different bosses to defeat.
  • Level up your combination slots as the run goes on.
  • Save your favourite seeds to replay and share with your friends.

Going by SteamDB, the developer recently updated it to note Linux support too.

You can follow it on Steam. No word on a release date yet other than Q4 2024.
