Good news KINGDOM HEARTS fans. All of the titles currently available on Steam have now been tested by Valve and given the fancy green Steam Deck Verified tick.
So that's:
- KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)
Pictured - KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)
In my previous Steam Deck Verified round-up, I noted the first two were Verified but now it's the whole collection. Really great to see! This is also means thanks to Proton they will work great on desktop Linux too! They were all tested and verified with the latest Proton 9.
Here's some other recently fully Steam Deck Verified games that may be worth a look:
Everafter Falls (Native Linux)
Rediscover the simple life. Farm, fish, forge and fight to restore the peace in an all-new farming adventure. Features split-screen coop, a helpful pet, automated drones, resourceful pixies, a card-eating progression system, and dangerous dungeons to delve into!
Anger Foot (releasing July 11th)
Anger Foot is a lightning-fast action FPS where the only things harder than your ass-kicking feet are the ass-kicking beats.
Rack and Slay (Native Linux)
The rogue-like dungeon crawler where you're a billiard ball! Push monster balls into holes or traps in randomly generated levels. Stack up countless game-changing items to create broken builds. Find combos to create your own synergies and customize your playstyle. Rack and Slay!
MULLET MADJACK is a single-player fast-paced FPS that brings you directly inside a CLASSIC ANIME. Power up your character and reach the last floor; Beat your best time or try again. Haste makes waste… OF YOUR ENEMIES!
Btw, is there some plugin to show the playtime from how long to beat directly on the steam store page (just like gog does it natively)?

Only pick the games up if
You're planning on playing them on the steamdeck.
Or you're on rdna2 architecture for your gpu.
Most other gpus are completely hit and miss with rdna3 outright being unplayable due to crashing every 5 minutes for the original 1.5 and 2.5 trilogy.
2.8 and 3 will function just fine but I should atleast give a heads up before money is spent.
There is currently posts on the steam discussion page compiled and updated every day for the past month with radio silence from square Enix.
