Tall Story Games are working on another quality British point and click adventure game, with Heir of the Dog now on Kickstarter with a demo available. Previously the developer released Lucy Dreaming, which was well received and had Linux support just like Heir of the Dog will.
More about it: "Replete with intricate, witty, and sardonic storytelling, Heir of the Dog, tells the story of bachelor and upper class twit, Cummerbund Bandersnatch. When visiting his uncle's laboratory, Bandersnatch discovers an experimental new formula guaranteeing a ‘good time’ for whoever drinks it. Seduced by the promises listed in his uncle's journal, he drinks the strange elixir and undergoes a monstrous transformation. Life will never be the same again."

They have 28 days to hit £15,000, with £7,557 already pledged at time of writing. So clearly there's quite a bit of interest for the funding to flow in so rapidly. As a Brit myself, I of course was legally obliged to cover this. Kidding of course, but I do love seeing British humour in more games.
Features:
- Hilarious dialogue and narrative.
- Atmospheric and nostalgic pixel-art style.
- Play as man, beast or dog to experience their extra senses and dirty habits.
- Switch between night and day to solve puzzles and discover new abilities.
- Choose between classic point & click or character-based controls.
Check out the demo on Steam. Also on GOG but no Linux build there right now.
Quoting: Oet_Steam link is fixed. GOG is an affiliate link so nothing I can do there that's your plugin blocking it.Quoting: Liam DaweCheck out the demo on Steam. Quoting: Purple Library GuyI swear I already own this game from like a few years ago.Hair of the Dog. It was an hour long free game. Sort of a proof of concept?
