From the dev of Parkitect, Croakwood is a chill town building simulation game about frogs and nature
Texel Raptor are moving on from Parkitect now and they recently revealed Croakwood, a relaxed town building simulation game about frogs and nature that looks simply wonderful. It will have Native Linux support just like Parkitect.
Starting from simple beginnings of turning what they built with Parkitect into a prototype for what would eventually become Croakwood. More: "Nestled in the heart of Croakwood Forest is a community unlike any other!
Help the locals to build and grow their home in this relaxed town building and management game.
Design and create structures, plan and decorate towns, explore an ancient and wild forest, and manage the Frog Market to guide these tiny amphibians as they settle in and learn to thrive."

It would be cooler if instead of making farms, they were making swamps, and if their homes were built part-underwater, and stuff. If there was some effort to think what the lifestyle of humanoid frogs might be like.
Quoting: Purple Library GuyThis seems cute, but I kind of wish things like this got a little more original. Like, the people are frogs, supposedly. OK, but they're living exactly like humans--it's just a reskin of a generic human-village-maker. They're making hard flagstoned paths to walk on, the houses they make to live in are human style because of course frogs would want to live somewhere dry, they appear to be doing agriculture because of course frogs would eat vegetables not bugs, they're doing their fishing from a dock . . .
