Once you've blasted through The Immortal Lock quake mod I covered recently, why not jump into BONK JAM which is quite hilarious looking.

Here you're given a great big hammer, aptly named the Bonk Hammer. Allowing you to jump higher, move faster and fight even harder than ever before. The developers mentioned it also includes two additional monsters to fight, Bonk Runes to collect as a new in-game reward system to unlock new skins for the hammer.

Highlights:

  • 18 maps to play.
  • More than 22 skins to unlock.
  • A new melee weapon.
  • Two new monsters.
  • A large starting map hub to explore.

Grab it from the Mod DB page.

They recommend using the ironwail QuakeSpasm fork but it should also work with vkQuake.

You can buy Quake if needed from GOG and Steam.

Funnily enough, early Quake design included a hammer. Apparently it was some kind of Thor inspired thing.
