Kitsune Tails, the platformer styled after beloved classics and steeped in Japanese mythology, shows off a bunch of retro minigames and some pretty powerful modding support that will be available at launch.
Coming with full Native Linux and Steam Deck support, I think this is going to be one to remember. Kitsune Games, who previously made games including MidBoss and Ultra Hat Dimension are crafting something pretty ridiculous here.
The new trailer that went up today shows off the power of their hand-made game engine with all the platforming you could want. However, to spice it up the mini-games are a whole lot of something else including Haunted Heist, a first-person maze-crawling experience inspired by early FPS games like Wolfenstein 3D with the chase-and-escape tactics of Pac-Man. There's even games like Boulder Dash and Arkanoid. What more could you want in a retro-styled game?

If that wasn't enough there's also simple to use modding tools to make your own levels and mini-games with Lua, along with the open source Tiled Map Editor. So, in a way, this is a platformer with a whole fantasy console included.
