NVIDIA released a tiny driver update today with version 555.58.02 that some KDE Plasma users may want to have a look at. Only a few days ago NVIDIA driver 555.58 was released, bringing with it Wayland Explicit Sync so this is a quick follow-up release.

The release note:

  • Updated glXWaitVideoSyncSGI() to be more efficient. This reduces frame stutter in some KDE configurations with GSP offload.

More on GSP Firmware in the NVIDIA documentation.

So give it a test and see if it improves things for you.
