Time to finish your collection? Resident Evil: Decades of Horror - Village Gold is a freshly released Humble Bundle for you. This is actually almost entirely a re-bundle, as Humble already did this around the same time last year, but this time around Resident Evil Village is the Gold Edition.

Below I'll go through and individually list the expected compatibility on Steam Deck and Linux desktop, along with any ProtonDB rating and noting any Native Linux versions available. Plus each is a Steam link, so you can go see more info on each if you need to.

As good as this bundle is, it's missing RE4 Remake and if they add that in, it would be a steal at $30 despite many who despise Capcom for the DRM. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother to get it since I already own all of these and would've gotten it if I hadn't bought them back then.

Personally, I think the original RE4 is better than the remake. I played both, and I really didn't like some of the changes from the latter, including the changes to the tone and characterisation.

So, yeah, I personally recommend the OG game with the RE4HD mod for the best experience.

The only real improvement in the remake was that Ashley is not a whiney hypocritical sex doll anymore.... the rest meh.

I don't think anything Capcom is worth paying for after the Enigma DRM controversy.

Remember they retroactively broke Linux support for a few games with that malware.
