A few days ago the great NonSteamLaunchers project, to help you set up various third-party launchers on Steam Deck and Desktop Linux, had a new release adding support for even more launchers.

This is a project that can really streamline the process to get launchers installed and added to Steam. It now includes support for the HoYo Launcher (HoYoPlay) and Nexon Launcher as of version 3.9.2. That's in addition to the already supported Amazon Games Launcher, Battle.net, EA App, Epic Games, GOG Galaxy, Rockstar Games Launcher, Ubisoft Connect and more.

From the changelog:

Desktop Version:
Added HoYo Launcher
Added Nexon Launcher
Added Repair EA App Shortcut to repair the EA APP easier
Fixed gog install and uninstall bugs
Fixed EA App and Legacy Games Uninstall bugs
Fixed NSL from not allowing to input websites
Fixed .desktop file from not allowing to be able to run any shortcut in the library (Please use the new and current .desktop file from now on!)
Fixed network errors in the NSLGameScanner.py to continue to run even without art
NSL now deletes all logs but only keeps the current run log, aka logs are now shorter and are no longer a mile long!

Decky Plugin Version (Decky Loader Testing Store):

Added the "Uninstall" button
Legacy Game Scanner was added

Always nice to see the Linux experience getting easier and more streamlined. I have only dabbled with Linux before Proton released but I do remember struggling to get some games run under Wine. So it's nice that nowadays you can say "just use this" and get access to hundreds of games over many different storefronts. Bonus points for automatically adding games to Steam for even better user experience.

It's genuinely exciting to see pain points for new users getting addressed.
Also, given that HoYoverse games seem to be getting more relaxed in regards to anti-cheat, having the launcher included could possibly be a big boon.
