Clearly, Godot Engine is going places, with more and more games using this cross-platform free and open source game engine that doesn't require royalty payments and now they've pulled in Second Dinner who developed MARVEL SNAP.
Announced via a press release it notes that W4 Games, the company set up by Godot Engine contributors, and Second Dinner have entered into a "multi-year strategic partnership" with Second Dinner planning "to build the most ambitious Godot game yet" and so Second Dinner has joined W4 Games as a strategic investor.

“When we formed W4 Games a couple of years ago, our vision was to make Godot the game engine of choice for superstar game developers. We are thrilled to announce this collaboration since Second Dinner represents exactly our vision” shares Nicola Farronato, W4 Games Co-CEO.
“Second Dinner has always been an inspiration for me, a company that is never afraid to break new grounds in all senses. It will be a huge pleasure to work with them ensuring the success of their future titles” adds Juan Linietsky, Godot Engine creator and W4 Games Co-CEO.
“We are excited to partner with W4 to utilize Godot. Godot is an open-source and flexible game engine with a vibrant community that will enable us to continue making super fun games” - Ben Brode, Chief Development Officer at Second Dinner.
Matt Wyble, Second Dinner’s Chief Operating Officer, adds, “We're excited to partner with W4 Games and push the boundaries of what the Godot engine can achieve.”
I had such a blast making the game that I actually kept going and continue to add stuff, play around and experiment with it. If only I didn't suck at creating art .
