At last, the good kind of industry news, and something worth celebrating. KRAFTON, the publisher of games like PUBG has acquired Tango Gameworks along with the Hi-Fi RUSH IP. Tango Gameworks developed The Evil Within 1 & 2, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Hero Dice and Hi-Fi Rush.
The developer will no longer be shut down thanks to this! As confirmed in a press release, KRAFTON will be working with Xbox and ZeniMax "to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity at Tango Gameworks, allowing the talented team to continue developing the Hi-Fi RUSH IP and explore future projects" which sounds great. They also said there will be "no impact on the existing game catalog of The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and the original Hi-Fi RUSH game".
Considering how popular Hi-Fi RUSH is with some excellent reviews (it really is great), this is just wonderful to see.
Quoting: ToddLGreat to see Tango Gameworks being acquired by KRAFTON and hopefully, we can see a future The Evil Within 3 game from them if MS decides to let them do it. Now, will Shinkji Mikami ever come back to Tango Gameworks after leaving them last year?I'm positive they will have to start all over from scratch. MS still owns the IPs. I think a fresh start is a good thing anyways.

Yeah, from what's been mentioned so far, the only IP they are keeping is Hi-Fi Rush, so any of their other IPs they'd probably have to partner with Microsoft to release.
