Cyberpunk 2077 fans on Linux desktop and Steam Deck might be quite happy about this latest update which adds in some new performance features.
Patch 2.13 is live now that includes:
- Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 with Frame Generation. More information can be found in this article on the Support website.
- Added support for Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.3.
- It will now be possible to enable both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction at the same time.
- Added a new "Utilities" tab in Settings and moved HDD Mode, Hybrid CPU Utilization and AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) options there.
- Other stability and visual fixes.
Cyberpunk 2077 already ran surprisingly well for the most part on Steam Deck, now it should hopefully run better than ever. You can play Cyberpunk 2077 on Linux with Valve's Proton. It's rated Steam Deck Verified.

Really? no FSR 3.1? Come on CDPR... how much more effort would it have been

Seems like you can only use FSR upscaling with Framegen which is a shame. XeSS had too much ghosting previously but 1.3 has been fantastic. Obviously not as good as DLSS but quality is more than capable that I don't care about the difference too much.
Sadly, I can't say the same about FSR. Still feels weird to use Intel's upscaler on AMD hardware because AMD's implementation is so bad.

Not only did they implement FSR 3.0 instead of the newer and better 3.1 version but their implementation of 3.0 is really bad. Actually worse than their own implementation of the 2.1 version.

Oh! Great! I'm about to start a 4th run; just bought the Phantom Liberty DLC.

can confirm this 100% - tried it out, it really looks terrible. much worse than 2.1

The FG implementation also seems to be faulty with less than ideal frame pacing while the DLSS Enabler mod works perfectly.

Man, not 3.1? What a shame. Hopefully they fix this in an update later.
Like, listen, I'm happy to get framegen at all, but once you've tried 3.1 it's hard to go back to 3.0.

Not using it, but I see a ton of reports that it's bugged in the game.
I suppose they'll follow up with bug fixes soon enough.

for some reason FSR3 is worse then FSR2.1
There is FSR3.1 but CDPR have not put that in.
