After a short Beta period I covered previously, the EmuDeck team have released EmuDeck 2.3 that comes with the big user interface overhaul. Not only that but Nintendo 3DS emulators have made a return.
Hold up, what's EmuDeck again? It's a system to make emulation easy across Steam Deck / SteamOS, desktop Linux, Windows and Android. It sets everything up for you and with this release, it should be easier than ever to use thanks to the fancy new interface.
The main changes as noted in v2.3 are:
- New unified UI.
- Button to remove SRM entries in manage emulators.
- Partial Multilanguage support.
- Auto setup emulators on your device's language.
- Lime3DS, a Citra fork has been added.
- Citra is back! We've added PabloMK7 Citra's fork.
- EmuDecky - Now you can update emulators from gaming mode (install from EmuDeck, not the Decky Store).
Here's how the new UI looks:
