Lunar Lake has launched now officially as the Intel Core Ultra 200V series, due out from September 24th for "AI PCs". The actual launch on September 24th will include systems from Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI and Samsung and others will various products going up from today for pre-order.
While not truly aimed at gamers, Intel do say the processors come with a "massive leap in graphics performance" and they're the "most efficient family of x86 processors ever". The processors have "completely rearchitected Performance-cores (P-core) optimized for performance per power per area" along with Intel's "most powerful Efficient-cores (E-cores) to date".
Here's the models they're launching (click images to enlarge):
And some other shots with various info from their official pack:

Will you be looking to get a laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 200V series processor? Let me know your thoughts on this latest hardware release in the comments.
Classic Intel, head in the sand, oblivious to all...
Jokes aside, I'll wait for the real world benchmarks to judge. If these processors make it to small form factor pc's I'd seriously consider buying one.
The 200V probably means it needs 200 Volts to operate and perform optimally....That’s just base voltage.
Peak will be 1.21 GigaWatts.

V for Vendetta
So I heard that Intel's fortunes started to turn to crap after they got themselves their first MBA CEO, instead of an engineer. Just like Boeing.
Suddenly it all makes sense
The fuck is an 'AI PC'?
Let's do one better - AI Thermal Paste
My PC doesn't AI have so it must be a Dumb-PC

Fine by me. Between me and my PC, I'd rather it was me doing the thinking, and it doing the "what it's told".The fuck is an 'AI PC'?

It's a PC that can do AI inference, which is pretty much any PC or phone or TV or frickin frig in the world.
On a serious note, an AI PC generally refers to a PC with an NPU (Neural Processing Unit?), which is basically an accelerator for AI operations that can otherwise still be done in the CPU or the GPU, but at a slower speed and/or higher power consumption.
