Deck Buttons have released a fresh set of fancy button upgrades for your Steam Deck, this time blending together real metal and high-quality resin for a really unique look.
They already sold a fair few different types of button upgrades to replace inside your Steam Deck like a Game Boy inspired set and various Neon colours but their latest selection is quite different. Although, swapping out the buttons can be quite a pain to do since it requires some very careful backplate removal and removing various parts inside the Deck. Still, they look awesome!
Available across copper and aluminium you can style them a bit yourself, although they ship looking "raw" you could polish them or perhaps use some steel wool to give them a brushed-like effect. There's a few possibilities here.
Available for pre-order with shipping expected in the second week of October.

Oops, that's just the colors, not what I was looking for...
I swear I'd seen some that were specifically molded / shaped to have the Nintendo layout, which you can definitely pick in the configs (especially since SteamOS supports the Switch Pro and other controllers).

There are some things plastic is just really good at. Like keyboards, even the craziest mechanical keyboard nerds, they don't want metal keycaps for the same reasons. They might look cool and appeal to some expensive = good crowd, but I don't want to type for hours on a metal keyboard, because I don't hate my hands. This just seems the same to me.
Mmmmmaybe this being some kind of 3d printed resin+metal makes me wrong? But . . . I doubt it.

I swapped out the analog sticks in my LCD one and it only took like 10m, and I was doing it very slowly. The buttons seemed like they were just right there to do along with that.
