tobspr Games have a big hit on their hands here with the chilled-out factory-building automation sim shapez 2 managed to do really well in the first month. Currently in Early Access it has full Native Linux support. It's also rated Steam Deck Playable.
In an announcement on Steam the developer mentioned they originally project it to sell about 90,000 in the first month but it's sold now over 273,000! For a smaller developer that's really impressive and it's life on Steam has only just begun. They said they "were completely overwhelmed and surprised by the response and success of the game".

As for how many sales were across different platforms. Only 1.9% were on Linux and 2.9% of macOS. The developer also noted Linux has been a bit problematic as "it seems that Linux players had by far the most issues on launch, with sound problems and some crashes" but a lot of those should already be solved with an updated Unity game engine version.
Now that it's properly secure, they've also detailed some of their plans to keep expanding the game by bringing in more developers, along with adjusting their content plans. They're brainstorming new content, some of which may possibly need a new saved game but they will share more on that later.
They're working on multi-threading to improve performance to spread the load across more CPU cores. One example given was how on a i7-10700 CPU simulating 1.3 million buildings went from 0.8 FPS to 43.7 FPS! They're aiming to have this in the next major update.
