Another round up of some free games you can get to play on Steam Deck and Desktop Linux thanks to Prime Gaming. You just need to subscribe to Amazon Prime, then you can head over to Prime Gaming to redeem them all.

Trying a slightly different format to last time sorting them into a nice table for you. Hopefully you find this useful. I'll use the Steam Deck Rating from Valve (steam deck verified Verified, steam deck playable Playable, steam deck unsupported Unsupported and steam deck not rated Not Rated), plus the ProtonDB rating to help you decide on what to play.

Compatibility may be slightly different since the games are from various stores. Some of the games might also have no ratings right now.

The only one I'm not including in this list is DOOM Eternal, as that's via the Microsoft Store, which of course does not work on Steam Deck / Linux since it's a Windows-only thing. All the games you get to keep as Prime Gaming gives you a code to redeem!

You can install games from Epic, GOG and Amazon easily via the Heroic Games Launcher.

See them all and claim from Prime Gaming.

What is the game on the thumbnail for the article? I recognise it but can't put a name to it and it's confusing me to hell hah.

This is a nice big selection of games - I've never tried Amazon's launcher for games before, usually only grab their GOG ones. Not that I have prime anymore, though this does make it tempting. I also still have yet to create an Epic account, though with all the freebies over the years I'm wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot by doing so haha.

My Thursday evening:

Epic: get freebie(s)
Prime: get freebies

It's totally ridiculous how many free games are in my gog, Epic and steam catalogues.
Prime been pushing a lot of gog the last few months, they already did a lot of Epic and a steam now and then.

Every Thursday there are 2 new free games to claim on the Epic Games Store. You have a week to claim them and the next Thursday there are 2 new games to claim. They remain in your account

I dislike Epic as much as the next person but I'm not going to say no to free games. I already have 152 of them, many AAA and I've yet to give them any money.
