Excellent news. PlayStation Publishing, Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software are bringing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 over to Steam on January 30, 2025. However, as with seemingly all Sony PC ports now, it will require a PlayStation Network Account despite being a single-player game and so will lock out various regions where the PSN is not supported.

They haven't yet revealed all the usual PC extras, which will no doubt come in a future blog post when they continue their marketing towards release like they've done for previous PC ports.
Okay, now I really need to actually play through Miles Morales…but I think a replay of the first one is also due.
How do we think this one will run on Steam Deck?
You can follow it on Steam.
And really, they were doing things just fine with rewarding you with early access to cosmetics in Returnal and Insomniac Spiderman for signing in with a PSN account, but not forcing you to do so.
