Finally huh? They sure kept us waiting. Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games is now set for a PC launch on October 29.
Working together with Double Eleven the PC release will come enhanced with native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. It will also feature NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings and more.
It will also include Undead Nightmare plus bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition.

One still annoying thing about this release is that according to the Steam page it "Requires 3rd-Party Account: Rockstar Games". For a single-player game that's always a nuisance since there's no multiplayer content in this release.
It will be available from Steam.
Will you be buying it? Hopefully it will run well with Valve's Proton.
Quoting: PublicNuisance"Requires 3rd-Party Account: Rockstar Games"Same for me. As much as I'd like to try the game, I won't create an account for a singleplayer game.
Hard pass.
Quoting: ShmerlGOG release hopefully too.
Ha Ha Ha - I like your sense of humor, Shmerl. ;-)

Lol, I don't really expect it. Especially with that obsession with some external accounts and etc. Though Sony did that too and then dropped the idea for some of former PS games. After all sales matter more than dumb control freakery.
