Quite a unique one here. Tenebris Somnia was announced from Andrés Borghi, Saibot Studios and publishing help from New Blood Interactive. They even pulled in Airdorf, creator of FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, to serve as Executive Producer on it.
It's a 2D survival horror adventure game like the classics with a feel like Silent Hill and Resident Evil mechanically. However, what really makes this one stand out is the blend of retro pixel-art main visuals for the gameplay, and then it totally flips with live-action cutscenes. It's…strange, but it works and when it jumps into a live-action scene it really does make quite the impact before it flips back to the gameplay.
Testing the demo on Kubuntu Linux, it worked perfectly with the latest Proton version 9.0-3 and I definitely think you're going to want to try it for yourself if you like puzzles and horror. See my guide if you don't know how to use Proton.

Check it out on Steam. No release date yet.
EDIT: I managed to complete the demo on the Steam Deck and it runs pretty good. If you plan to play it and want to use less power, I set the TDP Limit to 5W and GPU Clock to 600Mhz. With these settings, I was able to maintain 60 fps with very little dips.
Overall, a fun game but the combat is rough because of the way you have to position yourself to attack the enemy. Keep in mind that there are no save points in the demo and if you exit out completely, you have to start all over again, which it warns you when you get past the splash screens. The good thing is that if you die, you'll resume back to the last area you visited.
