Bronana aims to be the next Brotato but you're a Banana, with clear inspiration from the potato wave-survival game along with all the survivor-likes. To be fair to it though, it once again does a few things differently to try and stand out amongst a crowded and constantly growing genre.
Here you pick your Banana and head off into an arena where you face off against all the weird snacks. Pick up the coins they drop as the wave continues to count down until the end, and then you'll get to upgrade your character. What makes it different is the progression here. At the end of each wave it will drop three items on the floor for you to pick from, and then you're given a choice of paths to run through to get to the next wave, with each door giving you a different benefit (like an XP boost).
There's also various NPCs to interact with that can present you with random events to participate in, so it is a bit more dynamic than Brotato (but nowhere near as polished). Check out the new trailer below:

From the press release: "Bronana offers a thrilling gameplay experience full of unpredictable events and fun NPC interactions," said PK, director at busy bear "Prepare for a snacktastic struggle for survival with slippery maneuvers, quirky yet challenging stages, and incredibly high replayability potential when the title arrives on PC via Steam and Steam Deck next month!"
Another game made with Godot Engine but no Linux version though, so you'll need Proton for this one. There's a demo available now which worked fine with Proton 9.0-3, although clearly a little rough around the edges. I liked what I saw though, it gets pretty chaotic and there's plenty of over-the-top action.
It's releasing December 13th for $4.99.
