The latest upgrade for GE-Proton is now available with GE-Proton 9-19 bringing an assortment of fixes for specific games, along with updates to various components that let it do its thing.

GE-Proton (originally called Proton-GE) is a community-made translation layer based on Valve's official Proton, for running Windows games on Linux / Steam Deck. GE-Proton 9-19 has fixes for games including Monster Hunter Wilds, Diablo IV, Silent Hill 3 and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. The rest of it is pulling in code from all the projects it uses like DXVK and VKD3D-Proton for translating DirectX to Vulkan.

The full changelog:

-bump wine to latest bleeding edge
-bump dxvk to latest git
-bump vkd3d-proton to latest git (contains additional MH Wilds fix)
-bump dxvk-nvapi to latest git
-import upstream lsteamclient changes
-import upstream vrclient changes
-add xdefiant patch (thanks tperalta82)
-auto-apply DRI_PRIME=1 when more than one gpu is detected. This allows Diablo IV to get passed the grey screen on igpu+dgpu systems.
-add protonfixes for silent hill 3 video playback
-add protonfixes for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered internet connection (thanks UsernamesAreNotMyThing)

Not sure what you mean, it works fine on Desktop & Steam Deck despite being unsupported. This is another game that proves the Steam Verified system doesn't make a lot of sense sometimes…

Always nice to see a fix for Silent Hill 3! (even though I prefer the PS2 version)

Oh my bad, I searched for "monster hunter". Didn't expect it to be abbreviated, thanks for the clarification :D
