Need some fresh twin-stick shooting fun? Hotloop looks like a nice one, with an interesting gravity mechanic to throw your ship around using gravity from various planets.

More: "It is a dynamic mix of old school arcade and simulation. In this game you will meet a realistic system of spacecraft behaviour and precise orbital mechanics. You have to curb the force of gravity and learn how to use it to your advantage in order to repel numerous enemies."

A game where you use the environment directly to defeat enemies by smashing them into asteroids, make them burn up in the sun, fall into a black hole and more. All while you're trying to keep yourself moving, with the pull of various celestial bodies. With the fuel mechanic, you'll need to make great use of gravity to keep some spare.

Various different types of weapons and utilities and it just looks like some good classic fun.

The developer also noted just recently they did some improvements for Steam Deck players too including tweaking the UI and input updates, plus it has a Native Linux version.

Hotloop | Release Date: 18th November 2024

Probably as a result of the recent changes. Lots of games were hit by this.

Oh yeah, totally. I'm just surprised how many devs/pubs didn't take 5 minutes to do this. A third of my wishlist went up in smoke, and those are things still in dev or recently released. Not ancient games of maybe deceased developers.

Could you please tell them that there are people in Germany that think that the game looks interesting, but are blocked from the Steam page unless they fill in that form?

Looks like it is filled out now, as I bought it yesterday.
