The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth developer Edmund McMillen has announced that The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is soon to get a free online co-up update.

McMillen mentioned the update will come on November 18th and have "a full online co-op mode ( with completion markers ) along side a considerable balance update that heavily focuses on buffing items you guys believe are lackluster/bad".

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has a Native Linux build, but at this point it's unsupported, as the latest DLC The Binding of Isaac: Repentance doesn't even work with it. You should just use Proton and it's Steam Deck Verified.

What is it? The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy rogue-lite elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

Well, I don't know what to think about this devs' obsession with poo.

But the fans of this game can at least now play co-(po)op ...
