Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is quickly approaching release and it's looking good, to the point that Warhorse Studios have announced that it will be playable on Steam Deck.
So far they seem to have only announced it on social media site X, with nothing noted on the Steam page, and there's no official rating posted from Valve yet. Going by their wording, I expect it will see the yellow Steam Deck Playable notice and not be Verified.

This is of course good news for all other Linux systems too, since if it's playable on Steam Deck, you should have no problem running it on Desktop Linux with Valve's Proton.

More about it:
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a true sequel to its predecessor but developed and written in such a way that it is perfect for newcomers and longtime fans alike.
Diving back into the heart-pounding world of 15th Century Bohemia (Central Europe), Kingdom Come: Deliverance II picks up where its predecessor left off, thrusting players into the shoes of Henry, the steadfast son of a blacksmith, embroiled in a tumultuous tale of vengeance, betrayal and self-discovery.
In this gripping sequel, players will traverse a meticulously crafted medieval landscape, from the humble confines of a blacksmith's forge to the grandeur of royal courts, all while navigating the treacherous currents of a kingdom torn apart by civil war.
I wish Steam themselves would say something publicly about addressing this issue and do something about these falsely tagged games. That would help a ton with confidence in these tags!
Finished the first game recently also which i somehow had stopped playing after 60 hours. Very immersive and great game imo. Combat on the first one was a bit strange, but i mostly used stealth or bow anyway. Love the historical accuracy on this also.
Can't wait to play the second game.
