From Half Human Games and Boss Corridor they just announced Siegecaster, an active skill-based siege defense game where you play as a wizard surviving a large-scale assault on your home. Mixing together real-time horde-defense along with building, this actually looks like a whole lot of fun to me.

Death is almost certain, but for those who can survive, more powerful enemies and new biomes await.

  • Progressive Rune Collection: Earn, upgrade and enhance their inventory of runes between missions leveling up their power.

  • Unique Levels: Each level has multiple starting locations and occurs across several fantastical biomes within the Siegecaseter universe.

“Siegecaster is the type of game this team has wanted to make for decades!” said Alexander Sliwinski of Boss Corridor. “It’s a fun, active engagement game with endless replayability. You can play Siegecaster when you’ve got two hours or 10 minutes.”

“Siegecaster is our love letter to arcade gaming. Our team grew up on the classics, so this has been a game we've all loved working on," said Percy Legendre of Half Human Games.

Actually, the sheer chaos of it reminds me of Revenge of the Titans, which is definitely a good thing. On the wishlist it goes!
