Quest Master is a very positively reviewed Zelda-inspired dungeon maker currently in Early Access, and recently a big roadmap update was shared for the upcoming 1.0 release. Quest Master has Native Linux support and is Steam Deck Verified.
The developer has now set Spring 2025 for the full 1.0 release which will include a single-player campaign, which they're building with the same tools that are available to the community. In this story mode you'll be able to explore Castle Town as it grows into a bustling hub of quests and characters, journey through six elemental dungeons filled with unique challenges, and uncover secrets that connect players and developers alike in shaping Aetheria’s destiny.
Quest Master also recently had a big "Coldfang Grotto" update which includes a frosty 7th themed set. This new additions allows dungeon makers to freeze objects in Maker Mode, creating puzzles that challenge adventurers to unthaw them. Additionally it added in a freezing boomerang to halt enemies mid-motion and use them to activate pressure plate puzzles, and you can turn bodies of water into temporary ice paths unlocking new ways to navigate treacherous terrain.
