Airport X-Ray Simulator from developer Rainbow Lab has a fresh Beta available on Steam, which includes some overhauled controls for gamepads and Steam Deck. Currently in Early Access the game isn't finished.
Now you can live out your dream of being a baggage security operative. The backbone or airport security to prevent all sorts of harmful items making their way onto a plane. And soon, you'll be able to kick back and relax with it a little more with gamepad and Steam Deck controls being improved in the new Beta that also overhauls a few other gameplay elements.

Gameplay highlights:
- X-ray Screening: Inspect bags using an x-ray machine, identifying prohibited or illegal items.
- Manual Searches: Remove bags from the conveyor and conduct thorough searches, interacting with and examining all objects inside.
- Item Confiscation and Flagging: Confiscate prohibited items and flag illegal items for further action.
- Substance Scanning: Utilize a substance scanner for items that are difficult to visually identify.
- Passenger Information: Use your computer to check passenger details, permits for firearms or blades, and access your email.

- Earnings and Upgrades: Earn money based on your end-of-day summary, which can be used to purchase upgrades to improve your efficiency and capabilities.
