Fighting Fantasy Classics from Tin Man Games has been upgraded with numerous enhancements to make playing through various remastered text-based roleplaying adventures even better.
More about the collection: "Ready your sword, pack your provisions and prepare to embark upon nostalgic quests of epic proportions where YOU choose what happens next! Journey a magical realm, fighting monsters and unravelling mysteries in Fighting Fantasy Classics – text-based roleplaying adventures remastered. Originally presented by Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone in the 80s and 90s, Fighting Fantasy Classics brings these timeless tales back to your gaming library."
In the announcement they mentioned a new update is live with these changes:
- Steam Cloud Saves for both PC and Mac players.
- New Bookmarking and Saving system.
- Support for up to three adventurer profiles per gamebook.
- Controller Support.
- Comprehensive Steam Deck support.
- Some UI and Layout improvements.
They also announced Starship Traveller will be released in a few weeks along with the next Fighting Fantasy gamebook joining the library at some point soon.
Nice to see Official Steam Deck support though, considering these are better-suited to mobile devices rather than (traditional) computers.
