Maze Mice feels like Pac-Man and Survivor-like Bullet Heavens had a baby

Survivor-like bullet heavens are are all the rage right now from Vampire Survivors to Brotato and everything in between. Maze Mice answers the question no one asked: what if it was like Pac-Man?

Saying Pac-Man and the bullet heaven survivor games had a baby here really is the most accurate way I could describe it, and after spending a bunch of time with the demo I am absolutely hooked on the idea. Made by TrampolineTales in Godot, the same developer who gave us the excellent Luck be a Landlord.

Much like the Pac, you go through a little maze picking up orbs along the way while trying to avoid cats (you're a mouse). In true survivor-like style these orbs give you experience to level up, and then pick some abilities. These abilities can give you all sorts of powers like auto-firing projectiles, leaving a path of fire behind you to take down some cats and more.

It has a time-stop mechanic too, so there's absolutely no rush, it's surprisingly chill. Nothing moves until you do.

Try out the Steam Next Fest Demo it's well worth your time.
