La Quimera is an upcoming story-driven FPS set in dystopian future Latin America. Developed by Reburn, formerly known as 4A Games Ukraine. As a big fan of the Metro series, I'm keen to seen what a bunch of their team can do with this new setting.
The setting blends together Latin American folklore with highly advanced weaponry and technology. It will be playable solo or with up to two friends in co-op (three players). Check out the announcement trailer below:

Reburn have a talented team, making me all the more excited about it. They have over 100 developers whose past work includes gameplay design, art, sound engineering, programming, and more from across the entire Metro series as well as the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oleksandr Kostiuk serves as project lead on La Quimera. CEO and founder Dmytro Lymar has worked in games since 2006, and previously served as director and CEO of 4A Games Ukraine.
From the press release: “Reburn is proud to introduce La Quimera, which draws upon our success crafting narrative-driven shooter games for the Metro series,” said Dmytro Lymar, founder and CEO of Reburn. “We look forward to sharing this mysterious new world with players and hope they revel in suiting up to join the fight.”
dystopian future Latin America.
The dystopian part is redundant. It's easier to just say it's future Latin America.
I hope to see a Spanish dubbing worldwide.
Cautiously optimistic for this one!
Wishlisted immediately. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
Latin America -> Everybody speaking a perfect English.
I hope to see a Spanish dubbing worldwide.
I prefer games in English and it is not my native language, maybe because it is often the way they are written and then translated.
>ukrainian dev
I mean they dont need to look so far lol
Also i dont like that its not in Spanish/Portugese. I think that doin VO in Spanish/Portugese with subtitles would add to the atmosphere.
Its like playing Japanese games in English or Metro in English - it makes no sense
Hopefully it's not UE5
Music is super overblown :D
looks decent other than that. Will wait and see what they are cooking i guess.
See more from me
