Imponix Game Studio have announced GSC - Game Store Chronicle, a management simulator where you run your very own game store.
They say it's "not just another simulator" like we've seen quite a lot of pop up recently including Supermarket Simulator, TCG Card Shop Simulator, Grocery Store Simulator, Clothing Store Simulator and various others, as it "features a timeline tied to gaming industry history, letting you follow the greatest consoles, games, and moments through the generations".
The first trailer is below:

More about it:
From the very first console launches to the dawn of iconic gaming eras, your store will grow alongside the industry. Organize shelves, create attractive displays, and ensure your shop is the go-to destination for gaming enthusiasts. Make every decision count—your store layout and product selection are key to customer satisfaction.
Every decision you make shapes your business—from product selection to pricing strategies. Will you build a thriving store that becomes a gaming hub, or will you fall behind as trends shift and evolve? The choice is yours in this vibrant simulation.
The developer confirmed Linux / Steam Deck support on Bluesky:
Of course it will have! Steamdeck and Linux, in fact, this one I'll do better testing on desktop Linux. VoS I did test directly on Steamdeck, but not on desktop linux, just through players feedbacks.
It's due out sometime in Q3 2025.
The idea of having like a dynamic market behind it that you have to respond to is definitely what makes it more interesting, although I believe the supermarket one does have something similar, even if just fluctuating market-prices.

We really like to play these management games, but we always thought that they were missing something that made them more than just buy products, put them on shelves and see the money coming. Most of these games are basically that, including some small tweaks, like variable market prices, shop lifting...that was not enough in our opinion. Without mentioning the "asset flip" throughout the genre. We are making it all pretty much, from UI to 3D models.
As game lovers, we decided to add a major mechanic that will rule our game...the real history of the gaming industry.
How? The game will start on the second generation of video games, when Atari 2600 was released, then it will follow a timeline, what we mean by timeline is that as the days pass by new games will be released and be available to be added to your store's shelves. The nicest thing is that it will happen in the same way it was back in the days, for example,
