One of the best puzzle games ever returns! Croteam and Devolver Digital have announced The Talos Principle: Reawakened is set for launch on April 10, and there's a demo you can try out right now too as part of Steam Next Fest. You'll need Proton to play this one on Linux.
The demo at least won't be leaving when Next Fest ends, as they've said it will be up until release. Remade with Unreal Engine 5, hopefully the performance on this one won't be problematic like a lot of recent UE games are (although Epic Games are making steps to help). This version of the game also includes a powerful in-game editor for modders.
More about it:
The Talos Principle: Reawakened introduces new content, enhanced gameplay, and a gorgeously upgraded presentation. Relive the critically acclaimed expansion Road to Gehenna and dive into an all-new chapter, In the Beginning. Discover the story of Alexandra Drennan as she faces profound existential questions while orchestrating the Simulation's first critical test, challenging players to think deeply about the human condition.

The original game has nothing new for me (I can finish it in a couple of hours), so the only reason that I'd want this is for the extra "DLC". I'm still debating whether that's worth suffering through this UE5 nonsense. At least we can hope that the money spent would go into the development of Talos 3.
The original game still to this day looks gorgeous, so a visual "upgrade" is really a downgrade since it uses ue5. I absolutely loved the original game, and consider myself a huge fan, so theoretically I'm their direct target audience, and I don't even understand why this exists and have no interest in it. I can't possibly imagine they're going to make a large amount of income from this compared to just selling the original. Baffling.
The second game didn't have the magic the first one did, my friend and I gave up about halfway through. Maybe someday we'll get back to it.
