Cassette Beasts is getting a new companion character and story quest

Cassette Beasts from Bytten Studio has a fresh update announced for release on April 7th, bringing in a number of extras to the already fantastic and unique monster catcher.

The 1.8 Sunshine Update will bring with it a fan-favourite character Sunny as a new companion, complete with a story-line quest, a few new monsters, the ability to record wing skins, and a new paid cosmetic DLC that add additional wing skins. Check out the update trailer:

Cassette Beasts has Native Linux support and is Steam Deck Verified. It currently has an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam. Probably one of the best monster catching styled games to be released in the last few years, really worth picking up.

Great game, I think I will give it another run when I finish a couple games I'm with now just to see the new changes
