Grinding Gear Games are showing clear support for Linux / Steam Deck with Path of Exile 2, ensuring it continues working properly.

Ahead of the huge Content Update 0.2.0 coming that they keep teasing, it seems a recent smaller patch to the game caused problems. Playing on Linux / Steam Deck with Proton would throw up a pretty alarming warning, noting how they'll only tell you once about using cheating software and continued use would terminate your account.

Thankfully, it was a false alarm. The developer released 0.1.1f Hotfix today that notes: "Fixed Steam Deck and other Wine-based clients being incorrectly warned for modifying the client."

Great to see continued and prompt support on issues like this.

If only the Roblox devs would take cue so my kids not being able to enjoy the game for sometimes months on end wasn't a problem. āholes

Good they're on top of it, hoping those false positives don't still count as a mark on accounts.
