If you want to mount your Steam Deck to a wall, you could do so with something like the Deckmate but the MechLock looks far slicker with the super-smooth locking system where you can add a charger. I have no need for it, but I definitely want it just purely based on how cool it looks.

This just makes me wish Steam Deck had a bottom USB-C port, so you could dock it in one smooth motion like you do with the Nintendo Switch. But hey, attach a USB hub to this and you might be able to do something similar. As I type this out, I really feel like I need to try it. Check out their quick video below:

From their Etsy page:

π–¬π–Ύπ–Όπ—π–«π—ˆπ–Όπ—„ stands for "mechanical locking". This unique design uses a gearing system to secure the SteamDeck in the mount as well as ensure the USB-C charging cable is engaged. The gearbox has a gearing ratio between the upper and lower rack that causes the upper rack to move faster than the lower rack. As the lower rack moves down the upper rack engages with the top of the SteamDeck securing the system in place.

𝒕𝒍;𝒅𝒓: Your SteamDeck will be secured at top and bottom by its own weight.

This mount also offers the ability to add your own charging cable so that you can dock and charge your SteamDeck in one smooth motion. No more free hanging cables!

There's a few different versions available depending on what you want. One that will fit a standard Steam Deck, and then different tweaked versions for those of you that keep it in a case like JSAUX or dbrand and others. You can customize the logo colour on it too.

Personally, I just think it's neat.

You can check it out on their Etsy page.

Weird, you seem to have confused slick for bulkier when comparing it to the deckmate

It's nice to see that they've integrated the usb port into it but having just run in a problem with my ds4 controller induced by the fact that when you connect it to a usb cable, it put all the weight of the controller on the connector and damage it should you put the controller down on a flat surface, i'm not sure about having to connect the SD then move it to lock it into the mount.

It is however, quite nice that this mount allow for different cases like the jsaux one though.
