If you prefer your games a bit cosier and sweeter perhaps Iron Village might be your next one to pick up. Especially if you like building and management sims. Distilling the genre down to something a bit more simple and easy to get into.
Since it's a more casual game, don't go in expecting a big challenge. It's more about setting it all up how you want, watching it all grow and continuing to build it all up.
As the developer explains: "Iron Village is a casual game offering building and management challenges in a fun and intuitive environment; start from scratch and with the help of your railway you can build houses, farms, warehouses, and more to create your basic village. Trade what your people make for other resources and gather gold to grow your village into a prospering town and grow the railway into a powerhouse. For your village to grow and prosper you must build houses for the community. You can open shops that turn raw resources into valuable goods. You need to clear farm fields to grow a variety of crops, from basic staples to exotic magical ingredients - and with time and experience, you may construct warehouses to store your resources and goods. Trading is an essential part of the game; resources and goods your villagers make can be turned into gold and you can trade for other resources that your villagers need. Gold can be used to invest in, and to expand, your village. You can unlock new types of goods and resources along the way, and with patience and skills create new opportunities to grow into a prospering town."
