Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders from Homo Narrans Studio is now on the road to release, with it being confirmed a GOG and Steam release will happen this year with Native Linux support. I originally wrote about this one back in 2022 when it had a Kickstarter and it was planned for 2023 but took longer than expected.
Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders is a richly atmospheric, retro-inspired point-and-click adventure that immerses players in a rarely explored chapter of European history. Set in Leipzig, Germany at the dawn of the 20th century, the game invites players to step into the role of Detective Joseph Kreiser as he investigates a string of mysterious murders across the city. As Kreiser, you’ll examine clues, interrogate suspects, and piece together evidence in a classic point-and-click format enhanced with thoughtful design.

"The release of Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders is an enourmous milestone for me personally," shared solo developer Gregor Müller. "After four years of dedication, learning, and countless late nights, I'm proud to share my first commercial game with the players."
One to put on your watchlist if you love the classics.
