Well, this is nice. With the price of so many things going up everywhere thanks to tariffs, inflation and everything else - ROCKFISH Games have reduced the pricing of the upcoming big EVERSPACE 2 Wrath of the Ancients DLC. They also only just recently reduced the priced of the previous Titans DLC too.

In a Steam announcement they developer mentioned "With events happening in the world, it seems like everything is getting more expensive and there’s a lot of uncertainty in general. You feel it, we feel it, and all those marketing emails we’ve all been hammered with talking about prices going up certainly don’t help." and so they've decided to slash the price of Wrath of the Ancients from $29.99 down to "$24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99 / ¥2970 (other regional pricing will be in line with Steam guidelines)".

They said that no content has been cut from the upcoming DLC, and they're in the middle of polishing it up ready for the May 12th release date.

Everspace2 is such a wonderful game. I'm not playing it right now, but when this releases I'll for sure pick this dlc up just to support the devs.

Very cool trailer! I backed the game originally on Kickstarter, so looking forward to buy and play the expansion.

GOG link is borked. I've been waiting for a decent special and on gog it is -65% off atm. So maybe I'll get it.

Might still wait for bundle or DLC to be discounted also.

Why did I in my mind think of Everspace2 as some 20-year old game? It looks very modern?
Is this a remake?
They even released the source code or something?
I am confused.

@grigi - there was an Everspace 1 that was a kickstarter from about a decade ago, maybe that's what you're thinking of? It was a VERY different game though. A roguelike at its core, whereas Everspace2 definitely is not (thank goodness).

Everspace 2 is not a remake nope, it's a totally original game from Rockfish, and it kicks ass! They even ported it from the original ue4 to ue5 and continue to support it with patches and dlc. Stunningly gorgeous space visuals.
