Nice to see more apps like this arrive with official Linux support! OCCT for Linux is here and out of Beta testing bringing a full stress-testing and hardware monitoring suite.
In the announcement they said the Linux version can do basically everything the Windows version can:
- Comprehensive Stress Tests – Evaluate CPU, GPU, and memory performance under heavy workloads to ensure the stability and reliability of your system.
- Advanced Monitoring Tools – Get real-time insights about temperature, voltage, power consumption, and other critical system metrics.
- Multi-Platform Support – Compatible with major Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Redhat, Arch Linux, and many more.
- User-Friendly Interface – A streamlined and intuitive UI accessible to all users.
This is only the start though, as they said they will "keep enhancing OCCT's monitoring capabilities on Linux" although it's already "fully polished". Next up their priority is to provide the "highly anticipated SSD testing feature".

It's important to get Linux love from these companies. Even more so as the product is proprietary as a big chunk of companies just don't understand open source software nor do they trust those for some reason.

Looks like a well designed and comprehensive piece of software, although I'm always afraid to stress test my system because I'm afraid of breaking something!

Nice!
Can't wait to see my favorite YouTubers present benchmarks from Linux from now on too 👌😎

I downloaded it and tried it, it just shows a splash screen... eventually after a few minutes I had to hard kill it.
Doesn't look like it did anything, as the process was pretty much just idle.
I tried again, but nope. I would like to get feedback as to what it's trying to do, so I can help if need be, but this is just too abstract to work with.

Only thing needed is to set it as executable and it appears to work fine.
I haven't tried it fully yet but it detected my hardware and it looks really nice. I'm not used to seeing such nice user interface on a native Linux app like this so that surprised me. Great work from all who were involved in the projected.
